Get data about your assets
Asset analytics show you how your assets are performing. You can see which assets are gaining in popularity, compare performance to other assets and discover the top videos driving asset performance. This data is available daily, but may have a delay of a few days. To view data on your assets:
- Sign in to Studio Content Manager.
- From the left-hand menu, select Analytics .
- In the Overview tab, go to the Top movers section. This section shows the videos, channels and assets for which the data has changed the most in the last seven days.
- Click the Assets tab and choose an action:
- Click an asset to get data on that particular asset.
- Hover over an asset and click the compare icon to compare the asset's performance from the last seven days with the previous seven-day period.
- Performance reports only count claimed views
- YouTube Analytics counts unclaimed partner-uploaded views and claimed views
View your earnings metrics
On the Analytics page, you can click the Revenue tab to view estimated earnings data. Bear in mind that:
- Estimated earnings data in YouTube Analytics are updated daily.
- YouTube Analytics has a data delay of approximately two days for estimated earnings data.
- Estimated earnings data in YouTube Analytics doesn't reflect invalid activity adjustments in real time. Final revenue data reported in downloadable financial reports may differ from YouTube Analytics data.
Use advanced mode
YouTube Analytics in advanced mode lets you see more specific data about your channels, assets and audience. You can also compare content performance metrics and export your data. To use advanced mode:
- Sign in to Studio Content Manager.
- From the left-hand menu, select Analytics .
- In the top right-hand corner, click ADVANCED MODE.
- On this page you can take several actions, which are outlined here. For Content Manager users, additional actions include:
- Click the Channels tab to view data from individual channels.
- Click the Assets tab to view data from individual assets.
- Click the More tab to view data by Channel ownership or Claim state.

Organise data with Analytics groups
Groups are customisable collections of your videos, channels or assets. Groups let you arrange similar content together to see all the data in one place, which can help you to monitor performance in an organised way.
