Change comment notification settings

Use notification settings to manage whether you get email and mobile notifications about activity on your channel, including new comments and replies.

When reviewing settings, keep in mind that consecutive comments on a video may not lead to notifications for each. We send you an occasional notification instead.

Manage mobile notifications

Make sure that YouTube notifications are turned on for your device.

1. Go to your device's Settings  Notifications.
2. Find YouTube in the list of apps and make sure that you Allow notifications.

1. Open the YouTube Studio app .
2. Tap your profile picture .
3. Tap Settings   Push notifications .
4. Turn the notifications that you want on or off: comments, analytics, achievements, policy and earn.

Missing a comment?
You may not find a comment after getting a notification. Common reasons that you might not find a comment are that the user deleted their comment or it was removed due to policy.
