Change comment notification settings

Use notification settings to manage whether you get email and mobile notifications about activity on your channel, including new comments and replies.

When reviewing settings, keep in mind that consecutive comments on a video may not lead to notifications for each. We send you an occasional notification instead.

Manage mobile notifications

Make sure that YouTube notifications are turned on for your device.

1. Go to your device's Settings  Notifications.
2. Find YouTube in the list of apps and make sure to Allow notifications.

1. Open the YouTube Studio app .
2. Tap your profile picture .
3. Tap Settings   Push notifications .
4. Turn on or off the notifications you want: Comments, Analytics, Achievements, Policy, and Earn.

Missing a comment?
You may not find a comment after getting a notification. Common reasons you might not find a comment are that the user deleted their comment, or it was removed due to policy.
