Rentals, purchases & paid subscriptions on mobile devices

Learn about rentals, purchases, and paid subscriptions on mobile devices. 

You can watch rentals, purchases, and paid subscriptions on certain smartphones and tablets using the YouTube mobile app.

Movies and TV shows

Purchases can be found by opening the YouTube app, tapping the Library tab  , and navigating to the Purchases section.

Live events

You can watch live events on your Android device by opening the YouTube app and navigating to the channel where the live event was purchased. During a live event, you'll see the current event featured in the Live now section.

Paid channels

You can watch videos from any paid channels that you've subscribed to by signing into the YouTube app, tapping the Subscription tab, and tapping the desired channel icon. If you don't see the desired channel icon, tap the arrow to show all your subscribed Channels. Please ensure that you have the latest version of the YouTube app installed on your device.
