Make changes to uploaded videos

You can organise and make changes to your video's title, category, description and other settings using Video Manager on YouTube.

If you want to make tweaks and add effects to uploaded videos, use the Enhancement feature

Make changes to a single video

Using your computer
  1. On your computer, sign in to YouTube.
  2. In the top- right corner, click your Account icon > Creator Studio
  3. On the left under Video Manager, click Videos.
  4. Go to the video that you want to edit.
  5. Click Edit under the video title.
  6. Change your title, category, description or another setting.
  7. Click Save changes.
Using the YouTube mobile app
  1. Tap Library  > My videos.
  2. Tap Menu for the video you want to edit.
  3. Select Edit .
  4. Change your title, description, tags, privacy settings or another setting.

Make changes to multiple videos

On your computer, you can use the Actions button to update multiple videos at the same time.

  1. On your computer, sign in to YouTube.
  2. In the top-right corner, click your Account icon > Creator Studio.
  3. On the left under Video Manager, click Videos.
  4. In your list of uploaded videos, use the checkboxes on the left-hand side of the page to select the videos that you want to edit.
  5. At the top of the page, click Actions.
  6. Click More actions.
  7. Select the setting from the list and make the changes. You can append, remove or replace ("set to") text such as description, tags and the title.
  8. If you want to make more than one change, click Add actions and select another setting from the list.
  9. When you've finished making changes, click Submit.
