Eligibility
- Currently, this feature is only available on the YouTube app for certain Shopify merchants in the United States and Cafe24 merchants in South Korea.
Buy tagged products
You can find products tagged in a video and purchase them without being redirected to an external browser.
- Tap a product tagged in a video.
- Tap Buy now after selecting the products that you're interested in.
- After selecting Buy now, select options like size, colour and quantity.
- Tap Continue on the product that you want to complete your purchase of.
Note: You can also click View on the seller's site to complete the purchase on the retailer's website.
- Enter your payment info and check out.
Manage your purchase
You can view your order history to manage your purchase directly with the retailer or shopping platform.
- Open the YouTube app.
- At the bottom right, tap your profile

- At the top right, tap Settings

- Tap Purchases and memberships
YouTube Shopping orders.
- On the order that you want to manage, tap View order.
- Once you've logged in to the retailer account, you can manage your order directly from the retailer.
Get support for your order
Contact the retailer or brand directly for help with orders, returns or refunds.
- Open the YouTube app.
- At the bottom right, tap your profile

- At the top right, tap Settings

- Tap Purchases and memberships
YouTube Shopping orders.
- On the order that you want to manage, tap Need help with this order? See how to contact <Retailer Name>.
- To get more information about your order, tap View <Retailer Name> FAQ. You can also contact the seller via email or phone.
- If you need further assistance, tap Submit an enquiry to contact the shopping platform, Cafe24 or Shopify, directly for support.
Tip: Additionally, you can get support by:
- Visiting the retailer's website. Navigate to the 'Need help with this order? See how to contact <retailer's name>' section on the order history page.
- On the order confirmation email or Kakao notification (South Korea only), click the link to the order details page.
Troubleshoot technical issues
If you're having trouble with the checkout page or adding items to your basket, try these steps:
- Update the YouTube app to the latest version.
- Clear the cache and cookies in the Chrome app.
- Restart your Internet connection.
- Close and restart the YouTube app.
- Restart your device.

We apologise for the inconvenience. The retailer that you ordered from can assist with your order. You may view, cancel, return or exchange your order via the retailer.

What do I do if I have contacted the retailer but they are not responding?
Why do some products still link to my website even though I use embedded checkout?
Even when the accelerated checkout experience is available, some products may still redirect you to the retailer's external website. This can happen for the following reasons:
- Certain product types like personalised items, bundles, pre-orders and subscriptions are not supported.
- The product was marked as excluded for checkout in Google Merchant Center.
- The retailer's account is missing delivery settings or mandatory customer support details.
- Product images are still being processed or the feature was enabled very recently.
