The leaderboard shows videos from up-and-coming creators in the YouTube Partner Programme (those with 500–500,000 subscribers) that have been uploaded within the past seven days and endorsed by fans. When viewers show extra love to creators by hyping their new videos, the videos are given points and YouTube automatically applies bonus points depending on the creator's subscriber count. The fewer subscribers that a creator has, the more bonus points are applied each time that viewers hype. The videos with the most points are added to a leaderboard so that viewers can find the freshest content that others have hyped. You can discover up to 50 top hyped videos under multiple categories, such as gaming and music, by filtering the leaderboard by topic. With bonus points based on a creator's subscriber count, eligible creators of various sizes have the chance to reach the top of the leaderboard.
The leaderboard isn't personalised and displays the same list of videos to all viewers in the same country. The list of most hyped videos is updated about every few minutes.
