Troubleshooting payments

Purchasing a video

YouTube uses payments.google.com for all purchases. To purchase a video on YouTube you'll need a Google account with a valid form of payment on file. Learn how to add payment methods to your Google account.

Locating a purchased video

Videos purchased on YouTube can be found on your Purchases page. Visit your Purchases page.

Purchase details

When you buy, rent, or subscribe to something on YouTube, the charge will appear on your credit card statement as GOOGLE *YOUTUBE. View the Transactions page on payments.google.com for more details. You can also see a list of the items you've bought from YouTube by visiting your Purchases page.

Declined payments

If your payment is declined you may need to change your account settings, or update your payment information. Learn how to fix a payment problem with your Google account.

Payments made through your Google account

To make a purchase on youtube.com or in the YouTube app, you'll need a Google account with a valid form of payment on file.  Learn how to add payment methods to your Google account.

YouTube purchases, memberships, and subscriptions will appear on your credit card statement as “GOOGLE *YOUTUBE”. View the transactions page payments.google.com for details about purchases made through Google. You can view your purchases from YouTube at youtube.com/purchases.

Payments made through iTunes

If you have an iPhone or iPad you can become a YouTube Red member and pay using your iTunes account. You can manage your Apple payments and subscription options from your iTunes account.
