You’ll get access to a Community Partner Manager (CPM), your group coach, bringing you actionable best practices, helping you unlock new tools, and guiding your strategy every step of the way.

Expert direction

You’ll also benefit from regular informative newsletters and interactive workshops designed to support your channel’s long-term growth.

Event access

Receive invitations to YouTube events, technical workshops, and local creator socials where you can build real-world relationships.

Peer connections

Join a network of fellow creators to share experiences, swap channel insights, and build lasting creative partnerships.

Get started with a YouTube Bootcamp

When you join the YouTube Creator Community, your journey starts with an up to 12-week bootcamp centered on 1 specific product: Shopping, vertical live, or Channel Memberships.

What is a YouTube Bootcamp?

Led by a dedicated Community Partner Manager (CPM), the bootcamp offers a structured space to learn, test, and adopt specific YouTube tools to unlock new creative and earning potential.

What you should know:

  • The bootcamp consists of 30-45-minute weekly or biweekly sessions over the course of 12 weeks. Can’t attend a session? No worries. They are pre-recorded for more flexibility.
  • These bootcamps are beginner-friendly, but they are built for action. By actively testing new tools and applying new strategies along the way, you’ll unlock real momentum for your channel.

What are the different bootcamps?

The YouTube Creator Community offers 3 specialized bootcamp tracks focused on different formats and earning tools:

Bootcamp Track What You’ll Learn
YouTube Shopping Learn how to tag products, set up your store, and unlock new affiliate revenue streams.
Channel Memberships Build a dedicated fan community by creating exclusive perks, badges, and members-only content.
Vertical Live Master mobile live streaming, build real-time engagement, and earn through fan funding features.

How assignment works

You don’t need to figure out which path to take on your own. During intake, your Community Partner Manager (CPM) will review your content, channel goals, and audience behavior to match you with the bootcamp track that makes the most sense for your channel and that you are most likely to succeed in.

What happens once I complete the bootcamp?

Once you complete your up to 12-week program, you’ll graduate into the ongoing YouTube Creator Community, retaining access to peer networking, events, and group support as you keep growing on YouTube.

What is the role of a YouTube Community Partner Manager?

Think of your Community Partner Manager (CPM) as a group coach. Their goal is to facilitate interactive learning, bring creators together, and help you master new YouTube tools to expand your earning and storytelling potential.

Here are just a few ways CPMs can help creators succeed on YouTube:

  • Giving access to a growing network of inspiring creators
  • Sharing regular updates on best practices, new features, and topical tips
  • Extending exclusive invitations to creator/industry events and workshops
  • Providing early access to the latest product features, launches, and education on new tools
  • Giving feedback directly with the Product teams

What about troubleshooting?

Remember that CPMs focus on group strategy only. They do not provide 1-on-1 account management or individual troubleshooting. If you run into account issues, UI glitches, or technical bugs, use our dedicated support resources to get fast help:

YouTube Creator Community FAQs

Who can join the YouTube Creator Community?

Our YouTube Creator Community is invite-only, so keep a lookout in your email or YouTube Studio for enrollment details. Enrollment spots in the YouTube Creator Community are limited, and Community Partner Managers (CPMs) will reach out to accepted creators to share next steps.

The YouTube Creator Community is focused on active creators and is offered to channels that adhere to our Community Guidelines. If creators no longer meet our eligibility criteria, or violate community guidelines, they may lose access to the YouTube Creator Community.

In general, we work with channels that:

  • Are located in or focusing on countries/regions where Community Partner Managers are available
  • Are actively posting on YouTube
  • Have potential for growth
  • Do not have any Community Guidelines strikes
  • Have no more than 1 unresolved copyright strike
  • Adhere to our advertiser-friendly guidelines
  • Are respectful toward all participating creators and Community Partner Managers while attending Community events, workshops, and similar engagements

I found out I’m not eligible. What should I do?

Don’t worry! There are many resources that you can still use to grow your channel:

How do I know the emails I’m getting are really from YouTube?

We know that creators get many emails about their channel. Here’s how you can check that an email is actually from the YouTube team:
  • Check the email domain: Make sure that the email is from an @google.com, @youtube.com, or @partnerships.withyoutube.com email address. Emails from any other domains that claim to be from YouTube or Google are likely to be fake.
  • Check the links: Make sure that the URL of links or forms included in the email end with youtube.com, withgoogle.com, withyoutube.com, youtube.secure.force.com, or youtube.force.com.

Is this program suitable for my channel’s size?

Yes, our product bootcamps are entry-level and built to support channels at various stages of growth, no prior experience required.

When will I hear back about my bootcamp application?

You’ll typically hear back within 4 weeks of submitting your application. If selected, your Community Partner Manager (CPM) will reach out via an @google.com email with your bootcamp details, start date, and onboarding steps to help you prepare for the up to 12-week program.

Is a YouTube Community Partner Manager different from a Partner Manager?

The YouTube Creator Community, run by a Community Partner Manager (CPM), and the YouTube Partner Manager program are 2 different programs with distinct selection criteria and service offerings.

  • Community Partner Manager: The YouTube Creator Community is a large Community where creators can connect with other creators and learn about YouTube products.
  • Partner Manager: The Partner Manager program supports individual creators as 1-on-1 personal YouTube experts.
