Manage playlists in YouTube Studio

You can create, edit, manage and filter your playlists in YouTube Studio to engage with your audience.

Note: This feature may not be available with supervised experiences on YouTube. Learn more here.

 

Create a playlist

1. Sign in to YouTube Studio.
2. In the top right-hand corner, click CREATE   New playlist.
3. Enter a playlist title.
4. Use the drop-down box to select your playlist's visibility setting.
5. Click CREATE.

Edit a playlist title or description

1. Sign in to YouTube Studio.
2. From the left menu, select Content.
3. Click the Playlists tab.
4. Next to the playlist that you want to update, click Edit .
5. Click your playlist title or description and then edit as needed.
6. Click SAVE.

Manage a playlist

1. Sign in to YouTube Studio.
2. From the left menu, select Content.
3.  Click the Playlists tab.
4. Next to the playlist that you want to update, click Edit .
5. To sort videos in a playlist, drag and drop the video up and down to reorder.
6. To share a playlist, select Share and select an option. You can also allow collaborators.
7. To add videos to a playlist, select More  Add videos. You can add a video from search, URL or your library.

Note: You can also change your privacy setting.

Filter a playlist

1. Sign in to YouTube Studio.
2. From the left menu, select Content.
3. Click the Playlists tab.
4. Use the filter bar to enter the title that you want to search for.

Tip: You can also manage your playlists with the YouTube Studio app on your mobile device.
