Clean up steps

Once you've completed your migration, clean up your Google Workspace Migrate setup by uninstalling the tool and its components. 

Before you uninstall Google Workspace Migrate, consider how long you want to retain the migration data stored in MySQL and CouchDB. You might need to keep the data in accordance with an organizational policy or local regulations.

If you delete migration data, all information is permanently deleted and unrecoverable.

To uninstall Google Workspace Migrate:

1. Uninstall the Google Workspace Migrate software on the platform, databases (MySQL and CouchDB), and all nodes.
2. Securely delete all data from the Microsoft Windows instances that the software was running on.
3. Decommission the Windows instances.
