Add users to a customer's account

Add users on the Flexible Plan

Either you or your customer can add users to the customer’s account. Just be sure to set a purchase cap—your customer’s administrator can add or subtract users as long as they stay under the purchase cap.

To add users, you or your customer can:

  1. Sign in to the customer's Admin console.
  2. Click Users.
  3. Add users individually.

After adding users, you can view your order history to see the status of your order.

To raise your customer’s purchase cap:

  1. Sign in to the Reseller console.
  2. Click your customer’s name to go to their details page.
  3. Scroll to the Subscriptions section.
  4. Click Actions and then Edit purchase cap.

Add licenses on the Annual Plan

Before you begin

Before you can add licenses on the Annual Plan, you need to set up a link for your customers to purchase additional services. For more information, see Customizing your reseller settings for all customers. If these links aren't configured in your Reseller console, your customers can’t request new users through their Admin console.

To add licenses:

Once your customer initiates the order in their Admin console, you can add licenses:

  1. Sign in to the Reseller console.
  2. On the Customer list, click your customer's name.
  3. Click + next to the product you want to add licenses. This shows the subscription information.
  4. Click Add licenses.
  5. Enter the number of additional user licenses for your customer.
  6. Click Continue.
    • Note: If by contract you're limited to a specific number of users allowed in each customer's domain, the number of licenses can’t go over this limit.
  7. Review your selection and click Continue to place your order.
    • Note: When you confirm an Annual Plan (Yearly Payments) order, you’ll be billed the total amount for this customer. This amount is not refundable.

After adding users, you can view your order history to see the status of your order.

How you’re billed

When you add new users, any new licenses are added to the invoice sent after the end of the month. You’re only charged for the days that each additional user license is active. For example, if you add 10 new users on the 20th day of the month, the invoice for that month includes a charge for 10 user licenses prorated for 10 days.

For Irish resellers, see VAT information.
