How do I make our application the device owner during provisioning? 2 Recommended Answers 0 Relevant Answers 4 Replies 2 Upvotes

I am trying to use the Android Management API to make an application I've written the device owner as part of the provisioning process. Also, I would like the application to be hosted on my server. At this point I am not sure this is possible. I am not sure if this is possible without using the Play store/console or a third-party EMM.

Is there any possible way I can craft a solution remotely similar to my desire?

Thank you Jason. I will choose to go with the QR method.

When reading the information you provided me, I came across DPC Extras. It was in an article I believe you also authored, https://bayton.org/docs/enterprise-mobility/android/android-enterprise-zero-touch-dpc-extras-collection/

If I understand correctly, am I able to create my own DPC Extras? Some of the examples I have found look interesting but I am not quite sure the use case. Could you briefly provide some insight here?

Thank you very much.
