Our customers do not need to interact with the delivery drone. The aircraft hovers around 23 feet above the ground and lowers the package to the ground slowly, attached to a tether. After the package reaches the ground, it is released from the tether. The drone reels in the tether and flies away.
We ask customers to remain 6 feet away from the package drop-off point to avoid interfering with the delivery process and then pick up the package.
