If you just switched to Google WiFi but lost a wired device that used to work - THIS fixed mine 0 Recommended Answers 0 Replies 0 Upvotes

After getting the mesh going, I found that some of my ethernet connected devices had vanished. Each of these devices were set up to request a fixed IP address.

The problem? Google WiFi creates a DHCP range in the form 192.168.68.x whereas my old (Apple) system used the common 192.168.1.x range. Apparently my wired connections were asking for IP addresses that Google WiFi could not honor.

Solution: I changed the DHCP range in the Google App to the old-school range and voila! Everybody came running home to papa.

Your mileage may vary, but this was my solution.
