I'm unable to connect to a SonicWall VPN server when the client is behind the Google WiFi, NAT traversal doesn't help, doesn't seem to pass IPSec packets

Thanks for reaching out,

In general, there are 2 methods of deploying VPN and that is Site to Site and Client to Site. Site to site is the one that we currently don’t support yet. But for Client to Site, this is something that may or may not work depends on how your VPN are being deployed. In using Google wifi, it will require port forwarding so that VPN packets can pass through the internet to connect to your VPN server.

Can i verify if how is your VPN are being deployed starting from your VPN server up to the computer that has the VPN client software?

This is a client to site IPSec VPN. When I use a different WiFi AP point connected to the same ISP I can establish VPN without any issues. The VPN is straightforward IPSec - ISAKMP with xauth

When I switch to Google WiFi I see VPN client sending ISAKMP handshake but no response from the server.  I can grab Wireshark capture on the client side for both cases if it is helpful. I don't have control over the server
