WiFi Speeds very slow lately, with Ethernet still very fast 0 Recommended Answers 0 Replies 11 Upvotes
I've had my 3 puck Google WiFi setup for quite a while now, and historically it's been awesome. The past couple months, though, I've been having lots of issues with slow WiFi. When I first moved into this house and got my network setup (last August) I blew the cable tech's mind with my 350 down speed test over wifi; it was the best he'd ever seen. Over the next couple months it wasn't always that high, but it was rare that it would clock in under 100 (I pay for up to 400, for the record).
Lately, though nothing has changed in my setup, my WiFi speeds have plummeted. I'm lucky to get 30 down over wifi, while my hardwired computer is clocking in at 410. I've done everything short of factory reset to try and fix this with no luck, and am about to just switch to a different mesh router setup.
