We live in a rural area and are limited to internet options. Our current best setup is using a MoFi 4500 LTE modem/router with a T-Mobile Unlimited 4g LTE sim card. This is hooked up to Google Wifi (have 5 pucks). We all have Apple devices. We have been using this for months without any issues getting speeds of 40-50 mbps. Suddenly over the past week, we have had issues. Our internet usage has not changed. Strangely, we continue to get 40-50 mbps when using a speed test, however when loading webpages on browsers (Safari or Chrome) or using iOS apps, these are extremely slow. For example, loading cnn.com or espn.com will take 1-2 minutes to load and often will not load all of the images. Videos (such as on Youtube or Facebook) buffer and play without any issues. Also, some non-Apple devices such as our Roku load fast without any issues, however others like Alexa are slow. I have tried resetting the Mofi modem/router and all Google Wifi pucks to factory settings and setting up again without any luck. Is this a DNS issue? Any insight and help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

This is puzzling. Can I suggest changing the DNS server for Google WiFi to use and instead of "automatic"? Here's an article showing how: https://support.google.com/wifi/answer/6274141?hl=en

Thank you for the reply. I tried updating those DNS settings but no luck. Still extremely slow loading websites and apps, although the speed test (even on the Google Wifi app) are 40+mbps. Any other thoughts?
