You can install the Widevine Media Optimizer browser plugin automatically by navigating to the web page below:
Click Install Now! This will choose the appropriate plugin for your supported browser and platform.
On Windows
- Run the installer and follow the instructions as provided. After you have completed installation, you will want to quit and restart your browser to ensure proper plugin installation.
On Mac
- Open up the downloaded "WidevineMediaOptimizer.dmg" file and run the enclosed "Widevine Media Optimizer" application.
- You might get a warning such as the screen below. This is ok. Go ahead and click “Open” to launch the installer.
- In some instances, you may get a request to enter your password to allow changes. Go ahead and do this to let the installer continue to run.
- If you have any browsers open, quit out of them and restart your browsers
