Why Reverse Image Search can't find my image, but other users can?

I am never signed in for google images, I don't permit history or cookie storage for it so there is no difference between incognito and not.

This doesn't help, and one would think a reverse image search would have no relation to one's user profile. Either the image can be found, or it can't. It shouldn't vary with who is looking for the image...

I don't see the image in Image Search results but farther down the page I see that Google has recognized that the exact image appears on several web pages.

 

This would mean that Google has identified the image but has not indexed it directly.  Websites can prevent images from being indexed. 

 

Could also mean that different users at different times are hitting different data centers which are slightly out of sync.

 

Perhaps that is what is creating the appearance of a discrepancy?

 

 

 

Which web pages are you seeing Google recognize that image?

Because the only return I get is this thread right here.

You're probably right that it's a matter of what's indexed on a given data center but one would hope that a SEARCH query/request might actually... Search... For something.

Like maybe send off the request to another data center if they get little to no results?

I should be getting at least 2 other results at this point, in places where I have posted that image, places that are 100% public that I can find via other search services.
