An error message displays when accessing the google search engine https://www.google.com

500. That’s an error.

I can login successfully to the rest of my google account services like youtube gmail etc except the google search engine https://www.google.com

I tried almost all web browsers firefox, google chrome, microsoft edge, opera, and again I get the same error.

I cleared the cache and cookies, time range: everything at all web browsers.
I logged in again to URL https://www.google.com and the same error popped out.
I look forward to your assistance.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
thanks for posting!

Unfortunately an additional PC is not available at this time.
I can confirm the URL https://www.google.com working great, at the same computer, but with different google accounts.

Same here on multiple devices.
Doesn't happen when someone else logs into their account on this computer.
Only happening with my account.
I can search from the address bar in Firefox and get there.
Just can't go directly to https://www.google.com when logged into my account.

Yes, I have this issue too. Same problem on all devices. I have a second Gmail account that works perfectly, so it seems to be account specific.

Tried changing the password, but to no avail.

Hello,

I suspect that your browser is storing cookie with values that may seem to be invalid and Google is not ready to handle those values.

In that I suggest that you do the following in case you use the Google Chrome browser:

  1. Click on the locker icon that appears on the left side of the page URL bar of Chrome
  2.  In the menu that appears click on the Cookies menu item
  3. Click on the first domain that appears on the domains list
  4. Click on the Remove button
  5. Repeat these steps starting in step 3 until all domains have been removed
  6. Reload the page
Can you follow these steps and let me know if it work by replying here?

Unfortunately, it did not help. This issue only started happening recently. I would regularly go to google.com in order to select Google Apps from the 9 squares icon.

I deleted the cookies and could get to the site without issue. But as soon as I logged in the issue returned.

I tried it on all of the following devices:

Chrome on 3 different Android devices.
Firefox on 1 Android device.
Firefox on Slackware Linux.
Firefox on Arch Linux.
Firefox, Chrome, and Edge on Windows 10.
