Can I edit an answer on people also ask section? Google is bringing the wrong info from a web page

When anyone searches for our charity on google, they are then given the 'people also ask' section. The first question asked is pulling the wrong information from a newspaper article and giving the wrong answer to the question. Can this be edited?

I see the problem. It does give the wrong impression. Which can happen sometimes when a Featured Snippet in a Google search result, takes words out of context. It's an automated thing, makes mistakes sometimes.

I don't think the choice of that article on the Wales Online website is an incorrect or irrelevant one. See https://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-news/operation-christmas-child-shoebox-appeal-17184994. It's actually quite useful to you, since it recommends your charity as a more ethical alternative to a nonprofit with dubious ethics.

It's just the choice of words in the snippet that's a bit off.

I didn't see the same wording in my People Also Ask results when I searched. Not everyone sees the same results. Instead, I saw a clear statement that it was referring to Operation Christmas Child. It still wasn't ideal though.

So what can you do about it?

1) Shrug and carry on. Not everyone will see it, they might see different wording. They might visit the page, read the full story and donate to you.

2) Use the Give Feedback link at the bottom of Google's search results (it's small and grey but it's there).

3) Ask Wales Online to remove your details from their article. That will remove that particular problem from Google. BUT that could backfire, because it's probably in your best interests to have such good publicity.

4) Improve your own website's SEO, especially this FAQ on your website: https://teams4u.com/shoebox-appeal/shoebox-faq/ so that it's YOUR content that appears in People Also Ask when people Google your charity's name. Ensure you use FAQ schema. You already have the Yoast plugin installed on your website, did you know that it has a built-in block for creating FAQs that Google is likely to index? Simple to do, instructions are here: https://yoast.com/how-to-build-an-faq-page/.

5) If you don't already have one, get a Google Ad Grant. You can create free ads for your brand terms, but also for keywords like shoebox appeal. This helps put your charity above the search results, likely to be noticed first, taking people to a page that explains how your offering works.

This is the help forum for the Chrome web browser
Let me move your posting to the Google Search help forum to see if they can advise
Could you please share a screenshot that shows 1) what you searched for and 2) what the People Also Ask section shows.

If the information in the newspaper article is incorrect, you need to contact them to ask for a correction.

Thanks, so the question is  "is teams4u religious" the article is talking about alternatives to another charity (we're mentioned as an alternative) and it's pulling through information about that charity.
Does that make sense?
