DSat1908CAN'T SWIPE RIGHT TO REMOVE CARDS?
1 Recommended AnswerGoogle version 6.14.20.21.arm64 seems to have removed the ability to simply swipe right to dismiss Google (Now) Assistant cards. I tried it on two different phones after updating to this version. ZTE Axon 7 and OnePlus 3T. The only way I can dismiss a card is to press the 3-dot menu in the upper right and then select "I'm done with this card". If Google doesn't fix this, I'll be "done with Google (Now) Assistant!

Andy B.Hi everyone,
Andy from Google here. To clarify any confusion, after updating to the latest version of the Google Search app, you will need to use the 3-dot menu for any given card to indicate you are "Done with this card". You can also continue to use this menu to further customize the cards that appear on your Feed.
We appreciate your feedback though, and will continue using it to improve the Google Feed experience.
Best,

Mark HickeyNoticed the same problem. I really liked this feature and will be really irritated if it doesn't return.

Kevin OliveirActually, I was about to reinstall the app before I saw this. I don't know why they'd remove it, I'm hoping that it's a bug.

DSat1908I got it working on both phones. My sister has the Axon 7 and she said after the update swipe right was still working on her phone. On my Axon 7 I tried to just remove the update and reinstall but it still wouldn't swipe right. I had to remove the update, reboot, open the Google App from Settings, Apps, Google, then I cleared cache & data. Reinstalled the Google App update, signed back into Google now, recorded my voice again and now I can swipe right again to remove cards. On my OnePlus 3T, I only had to uninstall the update, reboot, reinstall the update (I had to do this twice though) but on the second time swipe right to dismiss a Google Now card works.
