Add links, images & more from search results to Collections

You can add links, images, and places from Google search results to Collections to find them later quickly.

What you can save depends on how you use Google.

  • Google app for Android version 8.14 and up: Images, places, itineraries, and web pages.
  • Google.com on your mobile browser: Images, places, and itineraries.

Tip: Saving items works on the Google app for Android in version 8.14 and up. To check your app version, tap More Moreand then Settings and then About. Learn how to update apps.

Add items to a collection

You can add pictures, websites, and places to a collection. You can’t save websites when you use a web browser.

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, go to Google.com or open the Google appGoogle app.
    • If you haven’t already, sign in to your Google Account.
  2. Do a search.
  3. Tap the result you want to save. At the top, tap Add to Add to.
  4. The item will be added to your most recent collection. To choose a different collection, tap Change.

Find or remove your saved items

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, go to Google.com/collections.
    • If you haven’t already, sign in to your Google Account.
  2. To find items, select a collection.
  3. To delete an item, tap More More and then Remove Remove.

Share a collection or change your settings

In the Google app

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google app Google app.
  2. At the bottom, tap Collections Add to.
  3. Tap a collection.
  4. Share or change your settings:
    • To share: At the top, tap Share Share.
    • To change your share settings: At the top right, tap More More and then Share settings.

In a browser

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, go to Google.com.
  2. At the top left, tap Menu Menu and then Collections.
  3. Tap a collection.
  4. Share or change your settings:
    • To share: At the top, tap Share Share.
    • To change your share settings: At the top right, tap More More and then Share settings.
