Google Finance availability
- The new Google Finance experience is currently available to a limited number of people in the US and India in English. It will become more widely available over time.
- You can also opt in to the Google Finance experience in Search Labs.
- Make sure you’re signed in to your Google Account.
- For the best experience, enable Search history by turning on Web & App Activity. Without this setting enabled, you can still access Google Finance but can't pick up where you left off with previous searches.
Important: Google Finance and its AI-powered features are designed to help you explore generic financial information, market data, and AI-summarized research.
Note:
- Google Finance does not provide personalized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
- AI-generated summaries, insights, and data visualizations are synthesized from third-party sources across the platforms. They are provided for informational purposes only.
- The information presented is not a recommendation by Google to buy, sell, or hold any security, financial product, or instrument, nor is it an endorsement of any specific investment strategy.
- AI can make mistakes. Always independently verify financial data and consult with a licensed financial advisor or professional before making any investment decisions.
How Prediction Markets work
In the US, you can track prediction market data directly within Google Finance. Prediction markets are open markets where participants trade contracts based on the outcome of future events. The prices reflect the market's current consensus on the probability of that event occurring.
- Data sources: This data is sourced directly from third-party market providers and is not generated or calculated by Google. Google provides this data for informational purposes only and does not provide investment or legal advice.
- Regulatory and financial risks: Participation in prediction markets involves financial risk. In the United States, the regulatory framework surrounding prediction markets is complex and continues to evolve. Because legal and regulatory frameworks can vary significantly by state and local jurisdiction, you are responsible for understanding and adhering to the regulations applicable in your specific location.
