- You can use some features in Google Finance without signing in. To create a custom watchlist, access deeper financial insights, and unlock full AI research features, you’ll need to sign in with a Google Account.
- For the best experience, enable history and personalized recommendations.
- You can now download the mobile app on Android.
- The mobile app includes the core research panel, interactive charts, real-time market news, and your custom watchlists.
- Features such as portfolios, agentic tasks, and live earnings call streaming are currently exclusive to the web experience and will roll out to mobile in future updates.
- Note: Support for iOS devices is coming soon.

How Prediction Markets work
In the US, you can track prediction market data directly within Google Finance. Prediction markets are open markets where participants trade contracts based on the outcome of future events. The prices reflect the market's current consensus on the probability of that event occurring.
- Data sources: This data is sourced directly from third-party market providers and is not generated or calculated by Google. Google provides this data for informational purposes only and does not provide investment or legal advice.
- Regulatory and financial risks: Participation in prediction markets involves financial risk. In the United States, the regulatory framework surrounding prediction markets is complex and continues to evolve. Because legal and regulatory frameworks can vary significantly by state and local jurisdiction, you are responsible for understanding and adhering to the regulations applicable in your specific location.
Customize your Google Finance experience

Get started with AI features in Google Finance
Google Finance uses AI to provide insights on market trends and a balanced viewpoint from trusted sources across the web.
- To dive deep into market movements:
- Select Dive deeper with AI to open the Research panel.
- Ask follow-up questions to better understand how current events and international developments impact the market.
- To find AI insights from across the web:
- When viewing a specific symbol, go to the Overview tab for AI-generated insights on its recent performance and the current market sentiment.
- Compare the Bullish view and Bearish view of a symbol. Google Finance gathers this information from various financial sites to help you evaluate factors like revenue growth, infrastructure spending, and market competition.
Track earnings & financial reports
You can keep track of upcoming earnings calls and explore a company’s financial performance in Google Finance.
- To track upcoming earnings calls:
- Go to the Upcoming earnings section on the Google Finance homepage.
- A banner will appear at the top of your screen when a symbol on your watchlist has a live earnings call.
- To explore earnings and financial reports:
When viewing a specific symbol, you can select the Earnings tab to dive deeper into a company's financial performance. You can:- Stream live calls: Listen to earnings calls seamlessly, directly from the page.
- Replay past calls: Listen to recorded calls and use the playback timeline to jump straight to key audio insights.
- Find transcripts: Review curated transcript highlights for a quick overview, or read the full text transcript.
- Get AI insights: Explore the At a glance section for AI-powered summaries of the latest news and financial reports.
- Find official filings: Select Documents and forms to quickly retrieve official financial filings.
- Compare performance: Review Previous reports for historical performance and check Related earnings to see how similar companies are performing.
Deep dive with the AI-powered Research panel
- Enter your question in the Search bar near the bottom of the screen.
- You can write your own questions or select from the suggested queries.
- To ask a follow-up or a new question, type into the Search bar near the bottom of the screen.
- Select Deep Search below the Search bar to create a detailed research report on any topic.

Manage portfolios in AI-powered Research panel
You can now build and track your investments with custom portfolios. You can also monitor your portfolio performance and gain AI-driven market insights.
Important: Your portfolio data is kept private. Please note that Google does not retain any files or images you upload. You have full control to edit or delete your portfolio data at any time.
Create & manage your portfolio- Open Google Finance.
- You can create create a new portfolio in many ways:
- At the left panel, go to Portfolio
- You can also select
Create a portfolio in the Research panel.
- Select
in the Ask anything bar and tell what you own to create a portfolio. For example: “Create a new portfolio and add 50 shares of GOOG and 100 shares of SPY.”
- Select
Upload File to upload a picture or spreadsheet and create a new portfolio.

- Go to the Insights tab.
- Asset allocation: Understand how your money is distributed across sectors and indices.
- Concentration risk: Review automated summaries to identify if too much of your portfolio is in a single area.
- Performance heatmaps: Spot investments driving your biggest gains or losses.
Automate tasks in Google Finance
Get scheduled market updates with tasks. You can create tasks in many ways:
- Open Google Finance.
- Go to the Research panel and select
Create a task.
- Review the AI-generated automation card. Choose your preferred delivery time, and select Create.
- Alternatively, in the Ask anything bar at the bottom of your screen, enter a time-based tracking prompt to create. For example:
- Keep me updated on crypto at 8 AM every day.
- Keep me updated each Monday on any new IPOs.
- You can also create a task from Threads & tasks
- You will receive a notification on your mobile app or in the Research panel when updates are ready.
- Note: Notifications will arrive through the Google app (Android & iOS). Agentic tasks creation and notifications will be supported in the Google Finance Android app at a future date.
