Find videos in Search

You can find video results for most searches on Google Search. To help you find specific info, some videos are tagged with Key Moments. Key Moments work like chapters in a book to help you find the info you want.

Important: Key Moments are added by video creators, or in some cases Google may detect the content and add Key Moments automatically.

Search for videos

  1. Enter a search on google.com.
  2. Scroll to "Videos."
  3. Choose a video to watch.

Tip: You can find additional videos in the "Videos" tab. Under the search bar, tap Videos .

Find & use Key Moments in a video

Important: Key Moments may not appear for all videos. If you don’t find any Key Moments, they may not be enabled for that video.

To find Key Moments, when available:

  1. Search on google.com.
  2. Under "All results" Search, scroll to find videos.
    • You can also find videos with Key Moments in the "Videos" tab.

  2. If there aren't any Key Moments, tap Expand More about.

Add Key Moments to a video

If you’re a video creator, you can mark Key Moments in your videos with developer tools or through video descriptions. If you don’t add Key Moments, Google may detect the content and add Key Moments automatically. You can turn off Key Moments for a video through developer tools.
