Error in Google 'Deceptive site ahead' 2 Recommended Answers 7 Replies 3 Upvotes
Hello, My site bttiindia.in is showing 'Deceptive site ahead' for the last one month. I have talked with my hosting advisor. As per them, no harmful links are there. Please check and advise how to remove this error? - did not match any answers in Search Console Help.

The only unusual issue that might be affecting the phishing is that when someone clicks the Register Now button, it opens a popup instead of an actual page.
Google might be deeming that popup is not secure. But that is my opinion, as something to consider.
It might be better to create a page linked in top menu Register Now. and embed the form on that page, with details on how the registration process works, etc.

Perhaps set up redirects to the httpS ?
Updated wordpress and all themes and plugins?
Check home page scan at https://view.hugo-decoded.be/?scheme=http&url=+bttiindia.in+&ua=Chrome&ref=None for any suspect scripts / code that should not be on the page/s.

That will guide you on how to resolve and ask for a review when you have made changes.

I'm getting the same deceptive site issue message on one of my sites: https://www.promotionalgifts.nz and though I have individually checked all the folders/pages under questions, finding nothing in the content or file codes, and scanned repeatedly with Malware checking programs, the Search Console Team won't clear the site. Makes it impossible to fix what can't be found?

Hello Team,
I have updated my plugins, themes, WordPress everything, checked all the files individually. Still no error I can identify. Yesterday I deleted all my files from Cpanel, they sent it for review. Still, they send the same fail notification. I have reset my hosting again today. Send it to the search console to review again. But in virus total still getting the same error. Can you adrvise anything?
