Our website is 100% mobile responsive but Google is saying it is not. We can even show screen shots as evidence to prove that our website is mobile friendly. We think this is an error and we want to know if the public can see this message. See the attached screen shot.

Why is this a thing in the first place!? You are making the internet a worse place flavoring mobile-friendly sites.

Now we have to look into make a shitty mobile version of our site - we don't have the time or budget to make a good one. (Our site is about a desktop application).

I feel like this is one of the reasons that I have to manually request the desktop version of so many freaking sites. Many have only made the version to satisfy the search engine. So they are because they are poorly made - with tons of features simplified away, poor information density and UI.

Speed is not the issue, it's fairly well optimized in that regard, even though we do have a couple of larger pages.

I only get these two issues reported:

- Text too small to read
- Viewport not set to "device-width"

I would love not to have to make my website responsive in order to improve my google ranking. It'll only result in a poorer overall user experience for our customers.

Hi Bjarke
I'm guessing that you aren't the original poster? It might be better to open a new thread if you after help and advice (we only get notified on a thread when the original poster replies, so posts on someone else's threads tend to get missed.)

But it's important to remember that the mobile stuff applies only to mobile searchers, if you can't find the time and budget to make a useful mobile experience for your customers, then for your desktop users it's business as usual.

I am getting the same think at our corporate site: Web Daytona - it was kind of odd trying to explain this to a client as I was making a presentation. Thanks for the tread. I have to look into getting this fixed asap.
