Good day,

our website https://funcollectibles.com isn't being indexed properly by google. Search Console Shows most of the products being found, but not currently indexed. No other problems found.

1. checked robots.txt -> all good
2. checked <meta name="robots" content="index, follow,"
3. Wordpress -> settings -> reading -> search engine visibility -> Discourage... not on
4. Yoast SEO plugin installed
5. Yoast Sitemaps entered in Search Console

After manually submitting links to google they do get indexed. Site went live in August, so I can't imagine it takes this long to index products. Any help is welcome of course :)

All google is saying here is:

Discovered - currently not indexed: The page was found by Google, but not crawled yet. Typically, Google tried to crawl the URL but the site was overloaded; therefore Google had to reschedule the crawl. This is why the last crawl date is empty on the report.

It should mean that Google will come back.

"Typically, Google tried to crawl the URL but the site was overloaded" this is not true at the moment. Indexing behavior has changed for all my sites as well as many other sites. Same server, same performance ,1.2 sec load time, no 500 error. Like many currently I am having indexing issues. For the last month or so instead of index in < 1 day (or immediately if submitted) my sites it takes 3-5 days to get to Discovered -- currently not indexed. The page eventually gets crawled by takes another few days to be indexed. Google needs to own up to this. I know many people in the same situation. Sitemap is fine, response codes all fine, consistent weird behavior across posts, pages, different sites.

I wasn't the OP but your Fanboy knee-jerk reaction to Google issues is not really helpful. "And yes some people have had problems indexing - now whether that is down to there own sites is another discussion" Google has acknowledged indexing issues and is being opaque as to the severity and impact. They had to disable the ability to submit a URL, likely because so many were resorting to using it with the ongoing indexing issues. I have this issue too and my site loads in well under 1.5 secs. With Mobile and Desktop scores of 90+.
