hi, I have a blog 3 months old with about 40 posts. One of the post ranks on first page of Google search results among websites that probably get 1000s of visitors a day. This single post brings most traffic to the website.

Most of other post are of similar quality or better in terms of SEO. Almost all of them have good Yoast SEO score in wordpress.

I write posts mostly on low volume keywords (up to 1000 searches per month). Majority of posts clearly provide a better information than other websites, blogs which are on 1st and 2nd page of Google's search results, many of which are often irrelevant for that specific topic/search phrase. Yet almost none of the other 40 odd post show in search results, but all are indexed.

Any suggestions how to improve on this? Is it because my blog is just 3 months old?

Hi MichalS,

If you can share your URL maybe folks here can provide tips?  That said, focus on providing great content and the rest will come in time.

Thank for your reply.I think I know the answer to my question.
As a learned some of my posts compete with keywords with less than 100k search results, hence my position on first page. Anyways when I am doing my keyword research (I am not using keyword research tools) I find that for some topics all keyword have close to 1mln search results, however as I mentioned before, URLs on the first page of search results are not necessary quality content, just websites with high domain authority. Can I compete with them or I am wasting my time.
In theory if I wrote 100 blog posts in a year, each 2000 words long, would my domain auhority change, and would I be able to reach first page or would those post never get listed in google search results?
