Mobile-friendly test: page resources couldn’t be loaded

hi there,
i have a serious problem with google mobile friendly test:

1. on google search - it says "your page is not mobile-friendly" for many product pages.
2. when i run an MFT - it says page is mobile friendly. however, there are some PAGE LOADING ISSUSE.
3. deatils can be viewed, and it seems some css and js files can't be loaded.

this is weird, coz those pages are absolutely mobile-friendly.

i assume some thing is blocking GOOGLEBOT SMARTPHONE.

i use cloudflare cdn, wp-rocket and wordfence and yoast.
as far i can tell, nothing is blocking googlebot. also checked robots.txt

needless to say, this problem is gonna affect me entire site visibility.  i guess it was first showing up on april (this month)

does anyone occur to fix this problem, or maybe can show me the way doing so?

Thanks in advance

Hi Oriel

I'd really take a look at working on the speed of your server. I just took a look at your site using the pingdom pagespeed tool: https://tools.pingdom.com/#5a89e613b9800000

As you can see, there's quite the delay (around 3 seconds) until things like the CSS and js files even begin to get served, as the response is generally quite slow.

The mobile friendly test times out quite quickly, so it's most likely just giving up waiting for these resources (hence the other error issues reported for them)

I'd work into getting those response times down significantly if you can.

Hi Oriel

The biggest issue you have currently it the very long load time for the initial html.

It's taking 3 - 4 seconds until that initial html has been served, so therefore there's a delay before the browser (or mobile friendly test) even knows to start downloading the other resources. And even though a small file, the initial CSS is taking a couple of seconds to be served.

Some of the speed issues could be attributed to you being in Israel, and the speed test running from the US, but even when tested in webpagetest from an Israeli location, it's still pretty slow: https://www.webpagetest.org/result/190416_ZZ_c6ff4a2f3767d4dd0aad8e0d110cf94b/

I have the same issue; we put images, js+css on professional CDN service so loading speed cannot possibly be an issue.

So:-
https://www.oneday.com.hk is the main site
JS + CSS are served through https://c.oneday.com.hk
and images are served through https://n.oneday.com.hk

I have checked CORS setting and currently set to:-
Access-Control-Allow-Origin:*

robots.txt has been deliberately set to "Allow" resources from the paths in which CSS + JS are so it boggles my mind what the issue is:-

Our clients are in Hong Kong and therefore the server is in Hong Kong; on the firefox load speed - the initial HTML took only 135ms to load which is fast.... Unfortunately Google doesn't have crawl spiders in Hong Kong so I don't know what response times they are achieving from where they are.

I have worked out why.
Google has done this deliberately because they want you to use their CDN and image services..... The error would go away if you use their hosting and other cloud services.... It's not really very ethical...

90/100 Resources not loaded. no dynamic content because .js not loaded. Check your number of HTTP requests. Visual art site on dedicated server requires weight of images: https://www.chrisdixonstudios.com/artgallery/allartworks-search.htm  Need at least product paged indexed!  I can download and save for google. Can we serve those downloaded static pages for Googlebot?

I have similar issues, it's works fine but now none of the pages pass mobile friendly test, even I using CDN. My mobile page speed is low, it's around 40, don't know is this a reason?

Factors affecting crawl budget according to our analysis, having many low-value-add URLs can negatively affect a site's crawling and indexing. We found that the low-value-add URLs fall into these categories, in order of significance:
