97% traffic drop (from google)

Hello,

our site Mamiweb.de has dropped more than 95% in search-traffic over the past year.
We didn´t change anything within the site-structure. The traffic-drop came along with several google-algorithm updates, starting in march 2019.

We used to have around 90-100k organic daily visists, now we have around 3k per day.

This massive drop would indicate some serious problems on the site, which we haven´t found until now.

As the traffic drop is so massive, it definitely seems to be a sitewide problem, so we think that our site is in some kind of sandbox? Even our best performing sites are not showing up in the google search results.

We had a similar problem 10 years ago, when our site got hit by one of the first major google-updates (that had names). After long suffering the google team manually triggered a deepcrawl, which finally solved the problem. They told us, that our site was ok, and unfortunately we were something like a "collateral damage", back then.

Honestly, I hope that this will be the case also now.

Has anyone an idea what the problem might be?
Is there a way to trigger a deep crawl by google?

Thank you.

Thank you!

We are aware of the medical update, on each page we link to the author-page (which we didn´t do 1 year ago, though). Anyway this didn´t help anything, rather the opposite.

Most of our competitors have the same authority like us, for medical content, for some reason they seem not to be affected seriously. The sitespeed is affected due to our advertising partner, which is a big publishing company, no chance to change that. Nevertheless we are in the same speed range (according to google pagespeed) as our competition.

Furthermore only around 20-25% of our content has a medical topic, the majority has topics such as family-life, parenting, educational stuff, etc. At least this content should not be affected, then.

In fact every single page of the entire website seems to be affected, there seems to be an active sitewide bloc or sitewide downgrade.

We experienced such a total sitewide downgrade already 10 years ago, and it turned out to be a "collateral damage" back then, it got fixed with a deepcrawl .. is there a way to get reevaluted by google, such as a deep crawl?

Best,
Gerhard
