Website marked Dangerous, popup stating password maybe be compromised 0 Recommended Answers 24 Replies 40 Upvotes

When I access the login page and enter my password onto the form, as soon as I type in the last character of my password, a popup comes up, titled " Your password may be compromised" and the body "You just entered your password on a deceptive site. Chrome recommends changing your password now.". The site gets marked "Dangerous" and after dismissing the popup, all elements on the page, and any other pages on the site are rendered unclickable, so I am unable to reset my password either.

I have verified the site in Google safe browising, and the serach console with nothing flagged up.

Hello
Is the site in question your own website?

If so can you type in the domain name using this format:

domain dot com

And we can take a look.

Thanks.

I'm having the same issue on a site I own and run.   I use it as a scaffold domain for my company as we launch new instances of our site around the country several times per year, and am literally the only person who goes there.  Its a wordpress install, and the wp-login page throws this error up and literally wont let me submit the form anyway.  I have an accurate SSL Cert on the domain, and all content is served via https.  This is clearly a bug in a new release that needs to be addressed.

In order not to confuse different sites and different issues, can you please post your own thread?
TYPE it in using the format

domain dot com

Thanks.

I have the same issue. When I want to set KEY and PASS configuration to external API on my own site, Chrome browser blocks the site as "Dangerous" and displays message "You just entered your password on a deceptive site...". My site is hosted on "azurewebsites.net". KEY and PASS configuration to external API is shared between many users.

This is a complete disaster. The message shows up even on sites that are not deceptive (such as a private owncloud set up a week ago), where Safebrowsing has "no data" on the site. On urlvoid.com the site lists as clean with 0/43 blacklists. The IP is clean too.

Not only that, once the message shows up, the submit buttons no longer work. I have to switch to Firefox just to be able to log on!

I think it is because of Chrome, this can be fixed by Chrome Developers.

I am having the same issue on my site (which I programed and has no malware). When I log in the the PHP site it gets marked as Dangerous in chrome. Googles safebrowsing tools show theres no issue but I am unable to use my site in Chrome as it will not let me log in once its marked as dangerous.

Hello,

I have the same problem for https://bestinremote.com. Works perfect on all other browsers, SSL installed and secured ... but yet Google will block people.

Please let me know what should i do. Where should i report this frustrating problem caused by Chrome.
