Hey Pablo,

In my opinion, your menu isn't a good user experience. I would find it more valuable to just have them listed on the manufacturer's page. Additionally, your mobile menu doesn't match your desktop menu so that might be confusing.  I like your mobile menu better where you only display a few manufacturers and a link to view all of them.

I'd do 1 of 2 things. 1. Only list a few high priority manufacturers and include a link to view all of them, or 2 remove the menu altogether. You may want to test your options to see which one Google prefers the most.

Thanks , I have shown dropdown (all categories - 250 approx) on the homepage only.
This is probably best? Having 250 category links on all pages , maybe wasn't the best and diluted text ?

Thanks!
Hi

"Mass menu - SEO advice please!"

Not long ago, Amazon (as many others) had big/huge menus, it did it for a log time and it was not a problem with respect to SEO

Facing to Google, menus as other nativation elements helps to discover content among many other aspects.

if for some reason you don't have a CMS/Website with a menu function or you simply don't want to have them because you don't need it, that is not a problem, in fact, they can be replaced by pages or you can use a combination, in the same way what Google uses taxonomy pages, whatever they are named (categories, tags, labels, list, etc.)

The focus is on the user, what do you have and how can you improve the experience to find what they are looking for, in this way, many elements could help for a good navitation, (menu, breadcrumbs, pages, user's sitemap, etc.), that, according to you website, its size, etc.

Google is not subect to pre-established structures as such, Google identifies the structure on the site, although there are good practices, many sites don't follow it and are very well ranked, for example, try to navigate into the "URL structure" (which as such, does not determines the site structure)

https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-AC1750-Smart-WiFi-Router - 404

The correct categorization and focused on the user, helps a lot, categorization focused on the search enfine, tends to be somewhat excessive and disproportionate and cause problems

Just keep in mind that always is highly recommended to have a good and consequent structure, because it makes everything easier in all senses

In response to above , both the desktop and mobile versions show all categories.

Best to show 10 most popular and link to page which shows all? This appears to be the norm on other instrument e-commerce websites.
It could be, is that a part of what can helps the user of your business to easily find what they are looking for?
For example, you could have in the menu 10 links (main categories) and each one, be a page where the user can see the products, filters and/or find subcategories which allows find quickly what they are looking for
