Website penalized by the 2023 Helpful Content System update

Hello, I am writing because my website, travelinusa.us, has been penalized by the recent algorithm update that Google released on September 14th. Three days later, on September 17th, I experienced a drop in traffic of about 30% (Google Analytics 4 data), with many articles disappearing from the SERPs.
The articles published on the site adhere to Google's quality guidelines, so I cannot explain why the site has been penalized. I have read the description of the update, but I couldn't find anything that explains the de-ranking. Can someone help me identify the issue? Thank you very much.

What I see is mostly correct text throughout the site, although in some cases some incorrect synonyms have been used which suggests an error in translation.

The issues that concern me most

1) What makes the content superior to that found elsewhere? This is a sincere question because there is absolute saturation on travel sites.  There seem to be more travel sites than there are consumers to read them which means the opportunity is pretty small, especially for seasonal traffic.

2) Poor branding - popularity matters if you want to rank well in a competitive space. Your brand is a generic search term which means it will be really tough for a consumer to search for you by name or recommend you to a friend. Sites that perform well over the long term have strong branded search traffic.

Well its little early to say anything as the update was recently launched. I would recommend reading the following guidelines to ensure that your site isn't violating anything-

thank you all for all the suggestions. A consultant has found that the website has been subjected to a spam attack with many malicious backlinks. That is likely the reason.
