Help finding Search Appearance settings on Google Search Console

In the past I had been able to modify how our website/company appears in Google Search results, specifically the top-menu links that appear directly under our result. I can not locate these settings on search.google.com in Google Search Console in any of the main menus at the left. Would be grateful if someone can point me in the right direction!

  • After some discussion & analysis, we've decided to remove the "Demote Sitelinks" setting in Search Console.

Thanks Barry - All my previous experience has been with the Webmaster Tools, which unfortunately has been replaced with Search Console. Not sure how much has carried over from that 2011 article, but I can't located the equivalent in Search Console with regards to site links, etc. Unless I've got this all wrong and I now in fact have no control over what appears under that listing? Especially if you can't demote links.

Correct. 

There are no options to control sitelinks. 
 
There USED to be that 'denote' function, but its been REMOVED. It's GONE, forever. 
 
Although there is the extreme option... 
  • If you need to remove a sitelink, consider removing the page from your site or using noindex.
