Counts mismatch between search console dashboard & data down from search console api
We are seeing huge difference in impressions and clicks when compared between search console dashboard and data downloaded through API. We are aware of minor drop when including page and query as dimensions. But the difference is in orders of 60%.
Is this normal?

It is a normal situation. Google present only sample of data so there might be differences.
Such data is presented to a webmaster to let him know what's going on with his site.
Please take a look to see that the sum of clicks or impressions you see can be different when you manually sum all record :)

Thanks for the response. I am extracting data for one day including all dimensions (date, query, page, country, device). I am assuming this would download data with aggregationType as 'Page'.
Now I am aggregating my extracted data by page and summing impressions. When I compare the stats with search console pages tab, I am seeing over 50% difference between both datasets.
This much variance is expected?
