on 6/23/2019 a client asked me to begin development on a website for cat-force.com that was currently parked at goDaddy.  I entered the url into my browser and a google warning comes up.  But wait, there is no web site it's a godaddy landing page.  Has google flagged godaddy's parking page as dangerous?  Go figure.  OK maybe goDaddy's landing page got hacked.  So I move it over to another hosting provider, make a simple index.html page with no links, no javascript nothing that might cause an issue.  I ask for a review and more than 72 hours later and the page is still flagged as dangerous.  I have added the site to my webmaster tools properties.  In webmaster tools it shows the warning that the site is flagged because of links, but the links say N/A.  Ok I'm really trying not to curse now.  In webmaster tools the live page view shows my simple page with a single sentence on it, html shows my simple html but still google continues to indicate that the site was reviewed as of today, but still marks my index.html file with no links, no javascript, nothing but one sentence as dangerous.

Moreover though I have submitted for indexing from webmaster tools the same old links to the goDaddy parking page are listed along with my new index.html page that has no links, no javascript... you guessed it FLAGGED AS DANGEROUS!

Oh and just for giggles, the page comes up fine on my iPhone browsing with FireFox and Safari.  Not sure if these mobile browsers don't implement the "safe browsing" feature.

whois.domaintools.com show the correct dns for the new hosting provider, which has to be true because google webmaster tools displays the new page.  I am at a loss and dead in the water because of this.

Trying to contact google is waste of time you can't speak to anyone unless you are placing an ad or doing something else where they take your money.

So any clues from anyone on how to fix this thing?

HI
There is a lot of dense text in your post and likely I missed some salient points.

The warning is likely from a previous iteration of the site and you are left to clean up someone else's mess.
Though I don't get blocked with a red  interstitial and https://transparencyreport.google.com/safe-browsing/search?url=http:%2F%2Fcat-force.com%2F is clear.

That said, the site is currently a Coming Soon page and all 4 variants -- http, httpS, httpwww and httpSwww -- respond 200 OK.
To use httpS three of those versions must 301 redirect to the one version you decide to use.

Thanks for the reply.  Yes the page is finally coming up.  Still baffled at Google relying on the goodwill of others for support with all the $$ they make. Not a good company IMHO.

HI
One to one support is provided on paid products.
For free products such as search console, etc it uses forums.

Glad it is okay now.  Actually might be better to add meta noindex tags to the preferred version to keep it out of search until the site is ready for prime time.

Right about Google only offering support when you pay them for one of their products.  I tried to do this by buying adwords for the site.  But because the site was unsafe they wouldn't let me and wouldn't direct me to anyone who could help.  Believe it or not they would say they were transfering me  to internal support and I would end up at the main menu asking if I wanted to do Adwords or Adsense.  The Google Adwords staff assumed that Google was right and the site was unsafe, not that Google was continuing to flag my site as unsafe AFTER IT HAD BEEN FIXED!

Google makes billions, and Google kept on flagging my site as unsafe, even the new basic page (which has now been replaced by a coming soon landing page, and https is being enforced).   I have a screen shot of the Google search results showing the new page index.html AFTER the site was moved on the new server flagged as unsafe.

The problem is that an issue such as this, where Google has made a mistake, (I have no idea about the safety of the goDaddy park page), but I definitely know that the page I created was completely safe and Google continued to mark this page:  https://cat-force.com/index.html as unsafe.   Let's just assume that i'm right and Google did make a mistake.  Imagine the potential loss to our business if this occurred after the site went live and our customers were getting this message.  The harm to our reputation, because it looks like we were hacked.  To this Google says submit your request and maybe in 72 hours we'll do something about it.

That my friend is just bad business and IMHO the behavior of a monopolist.

But I thank you for your efforts.

Best

I never attacked him personally, and if objectively I did, attacking me is the right thing to do? Two wrongs make right??

You will notice that in many of my responses I thank him.  I never attacked him personally.  I never said he was incompetent or that Google picked the wrong volunteer.  He has every right to "believe" that Google is correct, it's just not going to help people like me when Google 'gasp; makes a mistake.

So even though you attacked me, thank you for providing support, (though I think Google ought to pay those who volunteer support, they have the $$).

Have a great day and keep believing
