How do I get my Instagram account to show up in a google search of my name?

My fitness account will not show up when you search my name in google @shelbyfallis_fit . Even when you search the specific @ and put instagram it doesn't come up. Can anyone help? Trying to get more exposure but the account was made probably a year ago.

there's no specific method which can make your Instagram page rank, but you can try this method which worked best for me.
  1. make you profile public
  2. mention your name as your username and profile name, which you would be using to search.
  3. you can use post/image captions as title tag similar to websites.
  4. promote that Instagram link of your profile everywhere(websites, social media, blogs) - Optional step if possible.

This isn't really the correct forum for this but I will help you out. Google ranks based off of the intent of the search and the quality of the end result.

Instagram is all image based so it is pretty hard to make it rank very high, what you could do is get a website created for your name, then within that website have a link to your instagram as well as text like "Follow me on instagram @...." and this will show up in the search results. I have done this for hundreds of sites and once the instagram account is linked to a few websites it begins showing in Google more often.

In Googles eyes, your instagram account and my instagram accounts are identical pages just an image gallery so what tells us apart is your: title, popularity, posting schedule.

If you post often, get good interaction it will grow. Just keep posting on Instagram and link to it wherever possible. This is where it can also help to have a unique name which yours looks like it uses your own name which is much better than something like "summertime fitness" as you then have to compete with millions of other sites with generic terms.

To check it has indexed you can paste and search this into google: site://https://www.instagram.com/shelbyfallis_fit/ once it is indexed it will start to display the Instagram account. Keep posting and checking this link until it eventually gets listed on Google.

Hello Shelby,
I am not seeing your profile indexed.

Did you create an Instagram "Business Profile" or is this a "Personal Account"?

If you created a business profile, your profile would be public automatically, as all business listings are Public.

What you can do to help get your profile indexed?
Link to your Instagram url from any pages you control. This will help Google find the new address to index it.

*There is no guarantee your Instagram Profile will be indexed, but the odds are in your favor.
