Google Discover Traffic Drop

Hi, for 1 of my client website "binge-watch" section, the traffic has dropped drastically. For e.g. from 2000 clicks daily it has reached 10-12 clicks. Earlier (since 7-8 months) the articles were ranking on discover & also was getting decent traffic.

All of a sudden the traffic & stories from Discover just vanished. I have done the elementary SEO checks & they are fine. Please help asap.

Fluctuation in Discover traffic is very common, It remains fully automated based on Google Algo, You can check whether there has been any difference in topic trends in recent times or something has changed in your website layout.

Thanks Saket for the response.

However, I have checked all the SEO checks and they are fine. Celeb based "binge-watch" section is not getting any traffic all of a sudden.

Compared the stories which are not performing with the stories which were performing but no major issue found.

If this happened around 2/3 March for you, you're not alone and there is probably nothing you can do about it - a lot of publishers experienced a similar drop around the same time.

Sorry to say but Discover traffic can drop to zero and does seem to be unpredictable. We have seen lots of similar posts here.
