Tools for measuring your performance on Google Search

Here are some simple tools to measure your performance on Google Search:

  • Search Console Insights is a simple version of Search Console available to all websites. Search Console Insights provides simple statististics and performance milestones for your website. All you need to do is prove ownership of your site in Search Console. Learn more about Search Console Insights.
  • If you are using WordPress to host your site, we recommend using the Google Site Kit plugin. This plugin is a snap to install, and shows lots of statistics about your website in an easy to understand way.
  • If you use a different site hosting service, such as Squarespace or Wix, your hosting service might provide a dashboard or plugin that shows how your site performs on search engines. Search the internet for "<your_host_name> analytics" or "<your_host_name> SEO" to find out what tools your site provider offers. For example: "Squarespace analytics" or "Wix SEO tools".
