Use images and video

Google Web Designer lets you add image and video assets several ways. You can import them from the asset import dialog, place an image tag or video tag in your document, drag an image or video asset from the Asset Library, or drag an image or video from your computer onto the workspace.

Videos can also be added directly using the video component, which lets you control them using Events.

Whichever way you add these assets, Google Web Designer will duplicate them and group them together in an asset folder, keeping them together.

Google Web Designer supports images in .jpeg, .jpg, .gif, .png, .svg, and .bmp formats, and video in .ogg, .mp4, and .webm formats.
