Hello. We have our account set up for Dynamic Content. I followed Kent's tutorial and have a three row database/profile that the creative is linked to and is pulling from. Here are my questions:
- Right now the Dynamic Content is randomly generated. How do I set up contingencies for displaying the data? For example, if the user's IP address is in New York, the banner would select the first line of my database/profile that has a picture of the Statue of Liberty. If a user's IP address is in California, the banner selects the second row and shows a picture of the Golden Gate Bridge.
- Where is the code that is telling my current creative/banner to be random? It only works in the campaign preview using the Studio, previewing locally in a browser or publishing locally to a ZIP does not allow me to even see the functionality of the random results. The reason for asking is that once we get question 1 answered and working, I want to make sure that it does not get overridden by the 'random' code, where ever it is. And also to simply copy/mirror it to get question 1 figured out.
Thank you very much,
