Use Google Web Designer with a proxy server
Google Web Designer's shell application supports the same custom proxy settings that the Chrome browser does. Learn more about Chrome and Chromium settings.
If you have already changed your Chrome settings to allow it to work with your proxy server, the changes to Google Web Designer should already be familiar.
Google Web Designer does not support reading or changing proxy settings from the command line, so you will need to make changes in the application's preferences, which are stored in the registry on Windows, the application plist on Mac, and in the [Settings]
section of the Google Web Designer configuration file on Linux. The locations are shown below:
Windows | HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Google\Web Designer\Settings |
Mac | ~/Library/Preferences/com.google.WebDesigner.plist |
Linux | ~/.local/share/google-web-designer/preferences/settings.conf
