When I have used Google Fit to track an workout (dance, strength) the hear rate sensors sometimes remains on . I don't notice this until I remove the watch and see the green light still flashing.

TicWatch Pro
Model: 12096
WearO: 2.6
System version: H
Security Patch: Nov 2018
Play Services: 17.1.22 (050300-245988633)
Google Fit: 2.12.49-230

Anybody else have this?

Hi Ves,

There should be an option in one of the Tic health/fitness apps (TicPulse, maybe?) to enable/disable background heart rate tracking. Have you poked around to make sure that isn't enabled?

(I'm afraid I no longer have a TicWatch Pro so I apologize that I can't be more specific as to the setting's location!)

Cheers,
John

Not using TicHealth (even disabled it). Only using Google Fit and it only happens when I have used the workout mode (most likely triggering the constant hear rate scanning). My guess is the scanning get stuck and keeps going.

Did some poking in various settings menu but it keeps occuring if O use workout tracking through Fit.

Hmm, and you don't have the Background Heartrate option enabled in the Google Fit settings, right?

Last I checked, that wasn't possible with Fit anymore on Mobvoi devices unless you use the workout activity.

Yeah, that's the last info I had as well - I was just quietly hoping that it had changed!

I removed my LG Watch Sport after my workout this morning and did not see the sensor flashing at me. Sample size of one, but so far I'm unable to reproduce what you're seeing. I wonder if it might be a Tic-specific thing? Hopefully someone else will be able to test on that particular watch.
