Whenever I use Google Pay on Wear OS it keeps asking me for my pin.  Although I enter the pin, it just keep asking me to enter the pin.  I can't actually pay for anything.  I've resetted the device but it doesn't help.

Well it's asking for the pattern lock.

If and when the watch detects that it's been removed from your wrist, it will demand a security unlock the next time you try to use it. If you wear your watch band loose, the watch sliding around can trigger off-wrist security.

Where are you located? Per the support docs, Google Pay on Wear OS only works in a few countries:

Yep. Same. New iPhone, set up Tag Connected from scratch.  And although it's unlocked, Google Pay keeps asking for unlock pattern when trying to pay. So this is actually useless.  I'll just use Apple Pay from my phone since it actually works.
