    How can I edit my business information?

    To edit your business information, follow the steps below:

    1. Sign in at waze.com/business and enter your account.
    2. Go to Manage Locations and select the location you want to edit.
    3. From here, you can:
    • Edit your location name
    • Add/edit business Description
    • Add additional location info
    • Adjust your Pin location
    • Adjust your address text
    • Edit your contact info
    • Edit your business's opening hours

    4. Once you're finished editing, scroll down and click Update Location.

    How can I edit my images?

    • Sign in at waze.com/business and enter your account.
    • From the left navigation panel, click Manage Ads.
    • Select the default ad at the bottom.
    • Under "Display", upload your images according to our specs.
    • Click Update Ad to save changes.

    Can I advertise several locations under one account?

    Yes, you can!

    1. Sign in at waze.com/business and enter your account.
    2. Go to Manage Locations and click Add Location.
    3. Fill in the location details and click Create Location.
    Remember, your Pins budget is shared between all locations. Make sure your budget is enough to effectively promote all active locations.

    How do I choose my budget?

    The budget and CPM (the cost for 1,000 impressions) you set are calculated into the maximum number of impressions your pins reach every month.

    For example, with $2 CPM and a $60 budget, the maximum number of impressions would be 30,000 per month.

    The system spreads the impressions across the days of the month. In the example above, that would mean around 1,000 impressions per day. In high-traffic areas, with many Waze users driving by, the minimum budget will not serve pin impressions very often. 

    If you advertise more than one location, make sure to select a budget that is sufficient enough to serve an effective number of impressions across all advertised locations. 

    Remember — our system will spread the budget according to the traffic around each location in order to optimize impressions.

    Bottom line: The higher the budget, the more impressions you get and the more often your pins will appear on the map.

    How do I pause and resume advertising?

    To pause advertising any time you want:

    1. Sign in at waze.com/business and enter your account.
    2. From the left panel, go to Account Settings and then Details.
    3. Click Pause Advertising

    Your account will be paused until you choose to resume it. Your ads will no longer appear on the Waze map and in the search results.

    If you stopped advertising in the middle of the month, you will be charged the next month for the impressions served up until then.

    How do I resume advertising?

    1. Sign in at waze.com/business and enter your account.
    2. From the left panel, go to Account Settings and then Details.
    3. Click Resume Advertising.

    Your account will be active now. Ads will resume serving impressions within a few minutes and your business will appear on the search results page within 24 hours.

    How can I display my ad only during my business opening hours?

    After making sure your opening hours are updated, enable opening hours targeting:

    1. Sign in at waze.com/business and enter your account.
    2. From the left panel, go to Manage Campaigns.
    3. Select the Pin campaign, marked as "PIN#BusinessName".
    4. Under "Targeting", check Only Show During Opening Hours.
    5. Click Update Account to save changes.
    We highly recommend to keep Promoted Search active 24/7, for Waze users to always find your business when they're looking for it.

    How can I update my budget?

    1. Sign in at waze.com/business and enter your account.
    2. From the left panel, go to Manage Campaigns.
    3. Select the Pin campaign marked as "PIN#Business Name".
    4. Edit the Budget field to your new monthly budget and click Update Campaign.

    Don't worry, if you changed the budget in the middle of the month, our system will deliver impressions relative to the number of remaining days in the month.

    Make sure the new budget is higher than the amount already spend this month.
    If you wish to decrease your budget, do it at the beginning of the following month.

    How can I edit my credit card details?

    1. Sign in at waze.com/business and enter your account.
    2. From the left panel, go to Account Settings and then Billing
    3. Under "Your Payment Method", click Edit and enter your credit card details.
    4. Click Update Account to save changes.

    Where can I see my invoices?

    A digital invoice will be available in your advertiser account. Your invoice history is stored here for reference.

    To view an invoice:

    1. Sign in at waze.com/business and enter your account.
    2. From the left panel, go to Accounts Settings and then Invoices.
    3. Locate the invoice you would like to view by date.
    4. Click the viewing button located under the "Invoice" column.

    What types of credit cards can I use?

    Our system accepts the following international credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, JCB and American Express. Debit cards are not supported.

    I received an email about a failed charge, what should I do?

    Our system has made several attempts to charge your credit card with no success.  In order to settle your debt and reactivate your account, please do the following:
    1. Sign in at waze.com/business and enter your account.
    2. From the left panel. go to Account Settings and then Billing
    3. Click Pay Now to settle the debt.
    4. Go to Account Settings and then Details
    5. Click Resume Advertising.
    If the Pay Now button is not available, contact us.

    Can I delete my credit card information?

    Google makes the security and confidentiality of your information our highest priority.

    Google is in full compliance with the Payment Card Industry security guidelines and industry standards for all credit card types we support.

    Unfortunately, Google is unable to completely remove your credit card information from the system. 
    We assure you that any information you have provided will remain secure and encrypted.


  3. Resolve issues

    I forgot my password, how can I reset it?

    If you forgot your password and wish to reset it, follow these steps:

    • Go to waze.com/business and click Sign In.
    • Click Forgot your password? and follow the instructions.
    • Make sure to enter the email address you used to create your Waze account.

    You will receive an email from us to reset your password. If you do not see the email in your inbox, please check your spam folder.

    Please note: The new password must be at least 8 characters long and contain at least one Latin letter and one digit or punctuation mark. Spaces are not allowed.

    Why can't I see my pin on the map?

    There can be several reasons for why your pin is not displayed:

    You just recently created your account

    After an account is created, it's reviewed by the Waze Ads team. This process usually takes up to 48 hours. You will not see your business in the search results or on the map until the ad is approved.

    Your budget is too low

    It's important to understand how ads are displayed on Waze. Let's take a look at the following example:

    You promote a business in a big city and you choose to invest $600 per month with a $2 CPM bid (cost per thousand impressions). This means you can reach a maximum of 300,000 monthly impressions.

    • Your pin ad is not displayed all the time. Our system will distribute impressions according to the monthly budget and CPM bid you choose.
    • The system spreads these impressions over the total number of days in the month — in this case, about 10,000 impressions per day.
    • This number of impressions is spread optimally throughout the day.​

    If your budget is too low, it’s possible that you don’t have enough impressions to reach each and every Wazer that passes by your business in a given day. Consider increasing your budget to reach more potential clients.

    You've applied targeting on your Pin campaigns

    • Opening hours: Ensure opening hours were correctly in your location.
    • Under Manage Locations, ensure the status of all locations is 'Enabled'.

    Why can't I find my business on the search results? 

    To find your business in the search results, Wazers have to search for your exact business name. 

    For example: If I own a pizza place called "Mike's Pizza," my business will appear in the search results only when Wazers search for the exact name of my business. If they only search for “pizza,” my business will not appear in the search results.
    Make sure the names of your advertised locations are your business's most known and recognized ones. Exclude any city/state/street information unless it's an integral part of your business's name. 

    Why can't I change my budget?

    Errors in budget edits occur if you try to decrease the budget to an amount lower than the current month's spend. The new monthly budget has to be higher than the current spend.

    If you wish to decrease your budget below your current spend, you can do so at the beginning of the next month.
