Last Updated on May 22, 2018.

This policy explains the privacy practices of Waze Mobile Limited and its affiliates ("Waze") as they relate to the purchase and display of advertising space from Waze (the "Advertising Services") (which, along with other services offered by Waze to its users, are collectively referred to as, "the Services").

It describes how Waze collects and uses your personal information and the rights and options available to you.

Our user Privacy Policy explains what information we collect as part of the mapping, GPS navigation and community based services and Carpool services offered to users of www.waze.com (the "Website") and/or users of Waze's mobile applications (the "Application") and how we use that information.

This policy is incorporated into Waze's general Terms of Use or the Waze Advertising Terms and Conditions, respectively (the "Terms of Use" or the "Terms").

In this Privacy Policy, the term “personal information” means information that you provide to us which personally identifies you, such as your name, email address or billing information, or other data which can be reasonably linked to such information by Waze.

Controlling your information

You can always review and update your Advertiser account information (such as billing details) at your Account Settings page.

If you find that the information on your account is not accurate, complete or updated, then you must make all necessary changes to correct it. Please keep in mind that false, incorrect, or outdated information may prevent you from registering with the Services and impair the ability to provide you with Services.

If your Advertiser account includes any personal information, our treatment of such personal information would be also in accordance to Waze end user Privacy Policy.

Information Security

Waze considers information security to be a top priority. Waze services are built with strong security features that continuously protect your information. Waze implements systems, applications and procedures to secure your personal information, to minimize the risk of theft, damage, loss of information, or unauthorized access or use of information. For example, we review our information collection, storage, and processing practices, including physical security measures, to prevent unauthorized access to our systems. In addition, we restrict access to personal information to Waze employees, contractors, and agents who need that information in order to process it. Anyone with this access is subject to strict contractual confidentiality obligations and may be disciplined or terminated if they fail to meet these obligations.

The insights we gain from maintaining our services help us detect and automatically block security threats from ever reaching you. However, these measures are unable to provide absolute assurance. Therefore, although Waze takes great efforts to protect your personal information, Waze cannot guarantee and you cannot reasonably expect that Waze’s databases will be immune from any wrongdoings, malfunctions, unlawful interceptions or access, or other kinds of abuse and misuse.
