You can pause and resume your entire Waze Ads account at any time. Pausing your account will immediately stop all the ads in the account from showing on the Waze app.
Note: If you stopped advertising at the middle of the month, you will be charged the next month for Pin, Takeover and Arrow impressions served up to that point.
Pause advertising
- Sign in at waze.com/business and enter your account.
- From the left panel, go to Account Settings > Details.
- Click Pause Advertising.
Your account will now be paused and no longer accumulate any charges. To resume advertising, follow the same steps and click Resume Advertising.
Resume advertising
- Sign in at waze.com/business and enter your account.
- From the left panel, go to Account Settings > Details.
- Click Resume Advertising.
Your account will be active now. Ads will resume serving impressions within a few minutes and your business will show up in search results within 24 hours.
FAQs
How am I being charged after I pause advertising?
After you click Pause Advertising, you'll receive a final charge in the subsequent month for all billable impressions served up to that point.
After that, you won't receive any additional charges as long as your account remains paused.
